Branding toppers was started in 2004 by Debby (Swoboda) Mayhew as a way for retailers to brand their products so customers would be reminded of where they were purchased. Putting a label on the top of bottles serves as a subtle reminder to consumers of where they bought the products. As a result of being round, they could be used on top of supplement caps creating a private label concept for thousands of items in my client's stores. Also, by combining orders from multiple stores, and printing in larger print runs, this allows for a cost-effective way to offer these labels. In order to serve a wide arrange of clients, a membership program was created where large retailers and small retailers would share the savings - making the printing cost affordable to all members as well as providing marketing support.
